Introduction to Perspective Drawing Class
Date & Time: Four Thursday evenings — May 26, June 2, June 9, and June 16
7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Cost: $60, materials not included
Learn how to draw using one and two-point perspective. Whether you’re drawing buildings or interiors; cups and saucers or wine bottles; boxes or chairs or roads, knowing how to use perspective in your drawings and sketches will make an enormous difference!
A follow-up to Beginning Drawing, in this session, in addition to reviewing everything you've learned, you'll learn more about drawing all kinds of things in perspective and strengthen your skills in line drawing and tonal drawing. You'll also learn the basics of quick sketching and gesture drawing, so you can sketch anything quickly and easily, including people! If you want to sketch on location, whether around town or as you're traveling, this will give you the skills you need.
Beginning and intermediate level drawers welcome!
Materials you need (available at Silverado Ace Hardware in Calistoga and Steve's Hardware in St. Helena as well as art supply stores in Napa and Santa Rosa):
